Dr. Ivan Zak is CEO and founder of Galaxy Vets Veterinary Healthcare system. He’s also podcast co-host of Veterinary Innovation Podcast and a podcast called Consolidate That!
Originally born in Ukraine, Dr. Zak moved to Canada where his tumultuous career began by getting fired by his cofounders without warning.
Fast forward to today, he founded Galaxy Vets in August and already over 100 practices expressed their interest to join in. They have plans to grow to 220 hospitals and go public in five to seven years. Their goal is to create a scalable hub and spoke model with vertically integrated services.
